Ousmane Dembele Arrives Barcelona To Finalize Deal

Ousmane Dembele has arrived in Barcelona ahead of finalizing his club-record move from Borussia Dortmund on Monday. Barcelona reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the signing of the 20-year old forward on Saturday for a fee believed to be in the region of £97m, plus add-ons.

The French international landed in Barcelona on Sunday afternoon where he was pictured on social media familiarising himself with his new surroundings in the Spanish city. Dembele will be unveiled as an official Barcelona player at the Nou Camp on Monday where he will put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal before being presented to the media with the No.11 shirt.

Dembele told the club's website “I am very happy to be here. It has always been my dream to be at Barça. This is the best club in the world with the best players in the world. My aim is to do everything for the club, everything for the team, and to have an understanding with my team-mates.”

The forward's transfer is the second highest of all time, just behind the £200m Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar earlier this summer, and the add-ons in the deal are up to 40 per cent of the initial fee, which equates to 42 million Euros (£38m).
