Manchester City
manager Pep Guardiola has said that
he is happy with his squad for the coming season, despite Manchester City's continued activity in the transfer
market. The former Premier League champions have spent over £200m this summer,
while they had a £18m bid rejected for West Brom defender Jonny
Evans on Friday and continue to be linked with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker and Bernardo Silva are among a number of City's high-profile signings and Guardiola admits he is content if his side do not complete a further deal before the August 31 deadline.

He said “We try to build the best squad as possible for the long season. We are
going to see how the market finishes, if we have to stay with the players we
have right now we are happy, if someone comes we are happy too.”
