#AHMusicReview: A review of songs released on the last one week

It’s a beautiful Saturday right here in the city of Lagos and it is time for another brand new episode of Absolute Hearts Music Review. The music scene started pretty dull this week but we were still able to pull out some new songs for you and without further ado here they are;
1.      Terry Apala ft. Musiliu Ishola - Palongo: Terry Apala takes us back in time as he teams up with son of the inventor of Apala sound, the legendary Musiliu Ishola to give us the 21st century sound of the classic hit Palongo and I have to say nobody could have done a better song. This is a perfect blend of new school and old school sound in a very creative manner if I may add. The rating for this will be 9/10.

2.      Stanley Enow ft. Davido - Caramel: Cameroonian rapper Stanley Enow is back with another decent effort and on this one he features Nigerian act Davido and together they gave us a decent song on a cool production, the rating will be 8/10.

3.      Humblesmith - Sugar: I have to say I am not a fan of Humblesmith but I have to be a total hater of good music not to like Sugar. Humblesmith blew my mind with this dope song, from the lyrics to the production everything about this song is dope, thumps up to Tiwezi for the production as the rating will be 9/10.

4.      DJ Hazan x Dammy Krane - Based On Kpa: DJ Hazan is back with his usual suspet Dammy Krane with the song titled Based On Kpa and I have to say Dammy came through on this as expected. I just wish he can put this much energy into his own song, the rating will be 8/10.

5.      Mafikizolo ft. Yemi Alade - O Fana Nawe: The South African duo Mafikizolo teams up with Mama Africa Yemi Alade on another beautifully composed song titled O Fana Nawe and I have to say this is another powerful song from Mafikizolo as the rating will be 9/10.

6.      Davolee ft. Olamide – Oya Gbeff: Just a week after dropping Cirocing, YBNL's Davolee returns with another tune titled Oya Gbeff. On this street targeted song he features his boss Olamide on another Young John produced song and the rating will be 8/10.

7.      Bracket ft. Korede Bello – Just Like That: Bracket is back and this time they feature Mavin act Korede Bello on a romantic song titled Just Like That and I have to say big ups to Bracket, the duo always managed to come out with some cool songs and this isn’t an exemption. The rating will be 8/10.

8.      DJ Coublon ft. Klem - Shokoto Yokoto: Hit maker DJ Coublon returns with another beautifully produced song and on this one he features songwriter Klem who has very nice vocals. Klem wrote Glass House for 9ice, Gift for Iyanya and Ferrari for Yemi Alade just to mention a few and you can also hear the amazing guitar string from Fiokee. The rating will be 8/10.

9.      Oritse Femi ft. Olamide - Kelele: Oriste Femi returns with another decent song and features Olamide on the song titled Kelele. This is very similar sound to Ogbalarami from the Coperate Miscreant album, same sound, similar instrumentals and same progression just that Ogbalarami just has a higher tempo than Kelele. The rating will be 7/10
