PDP Reps quit sitting in protest against Dogara

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the House of Representatives on Tuesday walked out of a House sitting in protest against the failure of Speaker Yakubu Dogara to declare a defector’s seat vacant.

The lawmakers want the speaker to declare the seat of Nnanna Ibekwe, who just decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC, empty. The lawmakers are currently addressing journalists.
