Senator Ben Bruce reveals real reason Dino Melaye jumped out of moving Police van

Senator Ben Bruce has explained the real reason Dino Melaye jumped out of a movie Police van some days ago.

Before now, Mr Dino's aide had said that the senator feared that his life was in danger if taken to Lokoja - because of the senator's unsettled rift with the governor of Kogi state - and that prompted Mr Dino to jump out of the police van when he realised he was being taken to Kogi state capital, Lokoja.

In another twist, senator Ben Bruce has said that he visited Mr Dino who is still in the hospital and said this “Just met with @dino_melaye. Very sad to hear what transpired. Dino is asthmatic, yet while in transit, the police gassed him & he could barely breathe. Second time they gassed him, he had to force his way out of the vehicle. Dino literally escaped death. SAD!” Mr Murray-Bruce said.
