Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union to feature in Bad Boys spinoff series

Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union will star in Charter’s upcoming TV series LA’s Finest, a spinoff of the Bad Boys movie franchise.
The cop drama “follows Syd Burnett (Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, who has left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Alba), a working mom with an equally complex past, Syd is pushed to examine whether her unapologetic lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret.”

Charter has ordered 13 episodes of LA’s Finest , which will be the first scripted series for the cable company. The TV show is slated to debut in 2019.
