Disney set to release an African fairytale movie titled 'Sade' with Nigerian producer

According to Deadline, Walt Disney company is working on the release of an African fairytale film named Sade.
Sade is a princess, who when her kingdom is threatened by a mysterious evil force, accepts her newly discovered magical warrior powers to protect herself and her people. With the help of the kingdom's prince, Sadé embarks on an adventure that will allow her to embrace what makes her special and save the kingdom, Deadline writes.

The screenplay will be written by Ola Shokunbi and Lindsey Reed Palmer. Rick Famuyiwa will produce the film and have Scott Falconer as the executive producer.
