Access Bank acquires Diamond Bank

There are indications that Access Bank has reportedly acquired Diamond Bank.

As reported by TheCable on Sunday, the acquisition was midwifed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in a bid to further consolidate the banking industry, and official announcement of the transaction will be made in the course of the week by the apex bank.
