David Millz [@herodavidmillz] Set To Drop New Single February 28th

David Millz has announced February 28th 2015 as the date he will drop his new single titled 'OVERCOMER'. While we wait for the dope tune to drop, here is an interview with David Millz. Read below:

David Millz is a musical psychologist, A manager to two air waving Musical producers and a manager to one of A fast growing Musical Video director in the Nigeria industry And A gifted Song writter , Singer and performer! A recent interview with David Millz Goes thus: 

SO WHEN DID YOU START UP YOUR MUSICAL CAREER? I can say I started professionally 2010,cos that was when I got my very first record deal.. to MAMA3 ENT. back then, and I shot my first video in 2011. but back then i was called femillions 

REALLY? SO HOW IS IT BEEN SINCE THEN? Yeah its been great, so lots of lesson learnt. Actually started as just a singer but along the line i got more professional and went deep in the industry by Going into Artiste Management in the year 2014....... 

SO WHY THE CHANGE OF NAME ?hmmmm that's a very deep question cos there are so many reasons for the change **but let me just talk on just few reason. No1*Am a kind of man that believes in change.. one truth is that my former name FEMILLIONS Was an icon known as just a regular hiphop Artiste.. but I grew more better by going deeper in my career and I got to see more deeper reasons for singing so I had to rebrand.. And my 2ndPoint I will let out about the name it's that I really love my Dad and his my role model so I never knew How to Rep him for life so I decided to Use his name DAVID and I add MILLZ just a licut from femillions... ..yh that s all I can say about the change of name for now....... 

SO YOU SAID YOU SEE MORE REASON FOR SINGING 'CAN YOU SHARE LIGHT ON THAT? Yhh Before i say this let me say Thanks to God Almighty for the gift of dream... the truth is that i started music backthen just cos i loved music but along the line i got the major reason for the gift and the dream *Am someone that wanna touch and heal people's heart before am dead and gone and am gifted by God in three ways or medium to do that 1.Inspirational Publicspeeches 2.Writing Books 3.Music... Music for me is a medium to achieve my dream !but i will do commercial music types of song too to finance the game but my major reason for singing is to touch hearts .... 

SO WHAT SHOULD NIGERIAN EXPECT THIS YEAR? Nigerians should expert my very 1st step out of 2000steps I will climb before I die.Lol..The dream is big mhen .all I plead for from Nigerians and all around the word is to keep calm and see the dream manifesting.. much songs to drop this year and videos .... 

SO ARE YOU SIGNED UNDER A RECORD LABEL? Omo... Lol..Anyway last year March I got a record deal with a record label MOVE.. but the honest truth is that they have not start anything on any of my project.. but we still cool and all am doing now is keeping the dream alive i seek sponsorship from families and friends and we thank God.... 

WHO DO YOU LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH IN THE INDUSTRY? I Will love to work with couple of artiste WandeCoal, Dbanj, King Sunny Ade, Lagbaja, BurnaBoy, Wizkid, 2face, Niyiola, Iceprince, Vector, Jessy Jagz, MI, Asa.... if I keep listing I think I will mention all great artist in Nigeria

TO BE PRECISE HOW MANY TRACKS ARE U DROPPING FOR 2015? Honestly can't be precise but right now am planning 3tracks before July.. Yh.....   

DAVID MILLZ,THEY ARE ALOT OF TALENTED RISING STARS LIKE YOU OUT THERE AND THERE ARE MADE ARTISTE UP THERE YOU KNOW, SO WHAT WILL MAKE YOU ACCEPTED IN THE INDUSTRY AS YOU KNOW THE INDUSTRY COMPETITION IS HIGH ? Am not here to compete ..am an hero for the weak hearted am gifted to pass a message tru my voice.. am never competing am creating my space and caving out my own style of music and Someday I will be accepted and celebrated for what I do.. that's How I see it. ... 

SO TELL US ABOUT YOUR ANTICIPATED TRACK 'OVERCOMER' ? Overcomer is a song I bless God for.. I wrote half of it since 2013 ..Yeah but I only had d lyrics and never knew How to do it as song not till late 2014..was just chilling with my guys and d inspiration came full and God blessed me on How to sing my long time lyrics in an AFRO/RAGGAE style..so I called on my friend and one of my producer DebbieKillz We worked on it.. but later on I redid it with another producer Rythm due to some changes in concept of the song ...Overcomer is just a tip of what i have for my fans greater work coming ...OVERCOMER is a song for the heart...
