Athletics: Mo Farah And Wife Expecting Baby Number Three

Double Olympic gold medallists Mo Farah and his wife Tania have announced that they would be expecting their third child.

Tania, 27, who is the mother of his two-year-old twin daughters Aisha and Amani, shared a picture of her baby bump on Instagram with the caption: ‘Gained a bit of weight this summer! Looking forward to the next one #Farahbabyontheway before her husband reposted the snap to his 169,000 followers.

The couple have been married for five years has three kids already with Mo been the stepfather to the oldest of them Rhianna. This comes as welcome news for Mo after the recent stress of doping allegations against his Cuban-born coach Alberto Salazar. The runner was questioned for five hours last week by the anti-doping lawyer who brought down drugs cheat Lance Armstrong.

The 32years old was voted Celebrity Dad of the Year in 2013 and said at the time that “I train to be an athlete but there is no training to be a dad and I'm learning all the time, this award shows I must doing something right, which is a real confidence boost”. Since the news broke out Hundreds of fans has wished the couple well.

Last month, Farah was cheered to the beam by the Olympic Stadium crowd as he won his first race in Great Britain since the doping allegations engulfing his coach surfaced in imperious fashion. The double Olympic champion was back at the venue where he claimed his most famous victories and only took him in seven minutes 34.66 seconds to cross the finish line of the 3,000 metres.
