Magic Mike Becomes Gambit

Channing Tatum who is the star actor of the new released movie Magic Mike XXL has signed a deal that would see him play the role of Gambit in the movie Gambit.

The deal to get the Magic Mike star was said to be shaky at first but now Tatum has agreed to play the card-flinging Cajun mutant Remy Lebeau a.k.a Gambit after Tatum and Fox were able to resolve the issues they had. There was this news that broke out that Tatum was set to abscond the project because of the proposed payment he was to get but all that has now been put to bed even though it was said that the deal was never in any real danger.

The Gambit film will be directed by Rupert Wyatt who was responsible for the movie ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ while the screenplay would be done by Josh Zetumer and the movie itself would hit theaters on October 7, 2016.
