Tyson Beats Klitschko Becomes World Heavyweight Champion

Tyson Fury shocked the world by outworking and outperforming Wladimir Klitschko to become the new world heavyweight champion via unanimous decision on Saturday night.
The Britain's puncher ended the reign of boxing's most dominant heavyweight of the 21st century to capture the WBA Super, WBO and IBF titles in the ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf when he edged the majority of the 12 rounds in a disappointing contest against the 39-year-old, who offered very little throughout. Fury was light on his toes for the duration and although he did not land any particularly brutal shots and had one point deducted, he was awarded a unanimous 115-112, 115-112, 116-111 score line after forcing Klitschko to unsuccessfully chase him for the majority of the proceedings. Fury now holds every version of the maximum-weight title. Fury now has total record fights of 25 with 25 Wins 18 by Knock Out 18 and no Loss as the 27 years old Manchester fighter is fifth Britain's bona fide heavyweight world champion after Bob Fitzsimmons, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno and David Haye.

He was rewarded for his superior work-rate by the three judges and erupted into celebrations before breaking out into song with a rendition of an Aerosmith classic to his wife Paris, who announced that she is pregnant earlier on Saturday.

Do you see any Nigerian anytime soon winning the belt? The closest was Samuel Peters and lately Ajose Olusegun but he's still levels below the WBO title. Let’s hear from you.

Below are some pictures from the fight
