2 Tecno Phones Make It As Top Android Phones For 2015

If you take a minute to look into our review archive, you should see clearly that 2015 was a rather busy year for us. The gadgets came, we reviewed them, we had the good ones and the not-so-good ones and we tried as much as we could to make the reviews as unbiased as possible

Yes, we had our favorites and you shouldn’t be surprised to see two Tecno Mobile smartphones made it to the list.  it was recently announced and published that Tecno was the third largest smartphone vendor in the Middle East and Africa region in Q3 2015 and this proves the company is doing certain things right. As a matter of fact, Tecno Mobile managed to turn some die-hard critics to fans last year with the release of these two products.

I stumbled on an article listing the phones you can buy this Valentine and saw some personal favorites on the list. I was prompted to come up with something similar but I’m not listing phones you can give as gifts this valentine. I’m rather digging into our review archive to re-visit two favorite Tecno smartphones that rocked 2015.

Tecno Camon C8

There’s no doubt it’s a great device that comes at an affordable price. A camera-centric phone with a good design is probably the best way to describe Tecno Camon C8. If there’s anything that might make you think twice about this device, it’s the 1GB RAM Tecno decided to put on it. Nonetheless, the optimized operating system, 64-bit processor architecture, powerful camera, great aesthetics and affordable price tag makes it one of the best smartphones of 2015.

The latest addition to the Phantom product line exceeded both fans and critics’ expectations last year when Tecno Mobile launched a top of the line premium device. While some argued that the pricing was way over the top for a Tecno product, the argument that its worth every penny remains valid. A comparison between this device and Asus Zenfone Selfie at Mobility Arena shows Tecno Phantom 5 is the clear winner.

Being the first Tecno phone with a fingerprint sensor, Tecno Mobile ensured it got it right. I’ve tried a few phones from other Chinese vendors and I can boldly say the fingerprint sensor on the Tecno Phantom 5 is the most accurate. With the 360° recognition, there’s no room for errors. It’s just perfect.

The camera on the device is superb and the hi-fi audio quality isn’t what you get on every device. We call it a masterpiece, thats all.
