Arsenal Set To Overhaul Recruitment System

Arsenal have launched an overhaul of their player recruitment system as they look to keep touch with European football’s superpowers.

It is understood that Leicester City head of technical scouting Ben Wrigglesworth has been targeted as part of the shake-up, so also the Foxes’ scout Steve Walsh could also arrive as part of the revamp. Current head scout Steve Rowley is expected to remain as the spearhead of the club’s scouting operation as he will oversee the changes to the scouting department.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their domestic and global scouting presence and will employ new spies at youth and senior level to ensure talent does not slip through the net and Manager Arsene Wenger wants the club to stay ahead of the game with regards to recruitment and scouting.
