Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review

Once again it's Friday and the weekend is about to start, I hope you all had a great week and looking ahead for a better weekend? The Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review is back once again and just in case you don't know we are also on radio now.

This means that you can not only read the most reliable music review but also listen to it and this is courtesy Absolute Hearts Media and Black Carpet Production. 1.      Orezi- Yagolono: Orezi kicks off 2016 in his own fashion, has he serves us with this nice jam titled Yagolono and it is produced Kiddominant. It is either Orezi just got an endorsement from Merrybet or he is looking for one or probably he placed a bet and won because the way him hail Merrybet for this song dey wonder me. Anyways as expected Orezi knows how to serve us with good dance-able songs and this is no exception. I rate this song 8/10.

2.      Reminisce- Angelina: This song would have been a perfect hit if someone like Davido or probably Wizkid took the chorus and Reminisce just stuck with the verses. Well since this song was released on his birthday I am guessing he used it to celebrate his birthday with his fans. This is not a bad song, though not in the usual Reminisce pattern but him try and I rate the song 6/10.

3.      Phyno- Ezege (Wickdest): First of let me say a very nice cool and dope production from Del B, thumbs up. Well as expected when it comes to Phyno we expect nothing less than a hit song though this is not an instant hit but it is definitely a good jam and with the right video it might just turn out to be another hit. I rate the song 7/10.

4.      Poe ft Funbi- Adore her: You all know Poe from Falz Marry Me, well this time he is on his on track with Funbi and I must say this is a very great jam in all ways. Very nice and cool production, the beat was top notch and the instrumentals were so on point and the chorus to the verses is dope. I rate this song 8/10.

5.      Di’ja ft Baby Fresh - Take kiss: I am very very very disappointed in Di’ja for doing a song like this, this is strictly below her standard. The beat of the song is cool but what was sang on it is just annoying especially the chorus, it just annoying. I mean after giving us Awww and Amin which were good songs why drop so low to this. I rate this song 3/10. 

6.      Samklef -Alert: Samklef isn’t taking it easy at all and I guess he really wants to stack up all the cash he can get while the music is still paying. A very nice beat and cool production from Samklef himself, this song 7/10.

7.      DJ Jimmy Jatt ft BigLITTLE- Ayato: A very good song from Jimmy Jatt and BigLITTLE showed that he was right to be on this track as he gave it is all. BigLITTLE is still an upcoming artiste but to be featured by the legendary Jimmy shows you how much he has to offer. This song isn’t an instant hit but with constant airplay and good video it would be well appreciated. I rate this song 7/10.

8.      Joe El Gbemisoke: Joe El is kick starting the year on a prayerful note with this lovely song. I like the production of the song it very cool with smooth melody and Joe El was able to lay some good lyrics on it. I have always said it that there is no way you do a song like this and would miss it. I rate this song 7/10..
