Now to the reviews;
1. Lil Kesh ft Wale - Cause Trouble (Part 2): Just like the original version, this song still retain its street appeal as Kesh made sure he still remained on point with his second verse he added to the song. As for Wale I think he did the best he could on this track he was able to blend in the best way he could and the fact that the beat wasn’t changed to suit him is one thing I like. With or without Wale this song is a hit and the rating still remains 9/10.
2. Jhybo - For The Local: This is another hit song from the one and only Jhybo and I must say this is a song that everyone can relate with, he made sure his lyrics were as clear as possible and the message he passed relate to every man on the street unless of course you no dey naija. Very nice instrumental and Jhybo did proper justice with his strong and heavy lines on this song. I must say I am impressed and the rating would 8/10.
3. KSB ft M.I Abaga - Sugar Sugar: Mummy Kenny Saint Brown is back and this time around she features the Young Denzel M.I. Sugar Sugar to be candid is a good come back song from KSB as the instrumentals and production were on point. One thing that has continued to work for KSB is that there is way she does her gospel song that makes it feel like it isn’t gospel and everyone can relate with it and as expected M.I elevated the song with his rap. The rating for this song would be 7/10.
4. Oladips- My Story: Oladips continue to make name from himself in the rap game as he came through with another touching song titled My Story. Just like the title of the song, Oladips tries to tell us his story concerning where he is coming from and where he is heading too. Though this song isn’t as dope as Bounce but this isn’t a bad song either and the rating for this song would be 7/10.
5. Olamide- Abule Sowo: The original hitmaker decide to drop something for his fans to celebrate his birthday which was on the 15th of March. Just when you ask what else does Olamide has to offer, he just surprises you and you would be like how does he do it? Abule Sowo is another hit song no doubt and the rating would 8/10.
6. Oritse Femi ft Reekado Banks- Mr. Gomina: The Musical Taliban is back with another decent song titled Mr. Gomina and just as expected he killed it. Oriste Femi used this song to address some of the rumours that is being spread about him, he brought along Mavin act Reekado which to me I felt he didn’t do enough. That aside you can’t take anything away from this song because it is a decent song and the rating would be 7/10.
7. Vitkoh - Me And My Guys: After the success of Skibi Dat, Viktoh returns with another good song titled Me And My Guys and the way I see it, it seems like Viktoh as finally woken up from his slumber. If he should continue like this, I am sure he would rub shoulders with other label mate. The rating for this song is 8/10.
Thank you
