American
actor, Will Smith is to further pay his respect to late boxing legend, Muhammad Ali by acting as a pall bearer at the former
heavyweight’s funeral on Friday, June 10.
Smith who
famously played the role of the legend in the biopic ‘Ali’ is to be joined by
another former heavyweight slugger, Lennox
Lewis who
became a world champion in 1999, BBC reports.
Ali, the
three-time heavyweight champion who died in Phoenix, Arizona aged 74, will be
buried in his home town of Louisville, Kentucky.
Jerry Ellis, a brother to Ali’s former sparring
partner, Ali’s cousins John
Grady and Jan Wadell, are those also
expected to lift the legend during Friday’s service.
