We Played A Complete Game -Luis Enrique

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique described his side's 6-2 thrashing of Real Betis as the complete game. Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick and Lionel Messi netted a double after Arda Turan put the La Liga champions ahead at the Nou Camp on Saturday.

Ruben Castro equalised for the visitors and scored a late consolation but the strikes failed to take the gloss off the Catalans' first match of their title defence.  Manager Enrique, who was without seven first-team players including Andres Iniesta, Javier Mascherano and Neymar, said it was the perfect start to his side's campaign.

He said “The players were very motivated, and very active both in attack and defence. We were brave and very effective, a complete game. Sergi Roberto, down the same flank as always, very attentive in the defensive aspect of his game, and showed good anticipation. In attack, he was very good, looking for space and creating chances. Arda has a lot of quality and can perform in the two positions, both as an inside midfielder and as a forward. And, on top of that, he scores goals. He is more integrated and happy. Messi was at an extraordinary level, as always. Luis Suarez also, both in attack and defence.”
