Tom Holland Confirms Spider-Man Homecoming Sequel

 

Fast approaching the end of principal photography, Spider-Man: Homecoming has already earned its status as one of the most-anticipated movies of 2017 and the steady stream of set photos has only ensured that that excitement remains at a fever-pitch.

As this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though, those involved in Homecoming are already thinking further afield, and we’re not just talking about Spidey’s next outing alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Tom Holland said that there have been discussions internally regarding the potential Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. Referencing both the creative direction of the follow-up and the villains that could go on to appear in it, Holland stated that, “my next project, I can’t tell you about, but we’ve just finished ‘Spider-Man’ and we’re talking about the second one and who the villain is going to be and where we’re going.”
