Frustration As Leicester Striker Leonardo Ulloa Confirms He Could Leave The Club In January

Leicester City forward Leonardo Ulloa has admitted that he may seek a move away from the Foxes in January unless his playing time improves.  Ulloa is yet to start a game for the defending Premier League champions this season, making 13 appearances off the bench.

The Argentine signed for Leicester in 2014 from Brighton for a then club-record fee of £8m and has gone on to score 19 goals in 85 games, although he has started just 42 of those.  Leicester rebuffed an approach from Swansea City in the summer but Ulloa has now confessed that his future may lie away from the King Power Stadium.

He said “I want to play always. If I don't have minutes here I need to look for another team. It is difficult for me, the decision, I am waiting for the window and waiting for the team and waiting for the manager. I want to speak to him and after we'll make a decision for the club, for the team and for me also. I have a contract here and I need to think a lot about my situation and after that we need to make the decision together.”

Ulloa scored six goals in 33 appearances last season but has further for game time under Claudio Ranieri this campaign following the summer signings of strikers Islam Slimani and Ahmed Musa.
