On Friday, December 16th, news made rounds that an arrest warrant issued to Wizkid and his manager, Sunday Are, by magistrates of Buganda court for missing a concert in Uganda.
The Nigerian pop star was unable to fly into Uganda from USA for the concert scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 3 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’according to the organisers.

Wizkid's manager has now responded saying they're in negotiations with the Ugandans.
‘We’re on it, we’re talking to them, I need to know who sent it,’ Wizkid‘s manager, Sunday Are told Thenet.ng, an entertainment news platform.
Are also assured us that Wizkid is doing fine.
Substantial expenses in booking and re-booking flights, hotel, venue, advertising and promotions for the concert grossed over $300,000 (over N144m), according to the organisers.
Doctors have advised Wizkid to cancel all shows in December and January 2017 due to his ill health. He’s presently surrounded by close friends and family including his son, Boluwatife.
