#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

It is the best music review in Africa Absolute Hearts Music Review and today we are here to serve you with the latest songs coming out from our beautiful continent. Without further ado this are the songs we have for you this week:

1.      Erigga- The Way Your Matter Be: The self-acclaimed king of the street kicks off 2017 with a love song. Erigga is always about what is happening on the street but The Way Your Matter Be also shows us that beneath all that street life there is a soft heart. Not a bad song I must say, the rating would be 7/10.

2.      Timi Dakolo - Medicine: Though he might be in the middle of a legal battle but that hasn’t stop him from doing what he knows how to do best. Timi Dakolo serves us with another powerful love song titled Medicine and of course the song was produced by Cobhams. The rating would 8/10.

3.      Becca ft Patoranking – Na Wash: Becca is one of my favourite Ghanaian artiste and she kicks off her 2017 with a brilliant collaboration with Naija's very own Patoranking. I have to say this, Becca is one artiste that is very versatile and she showed that on this song, very nice concept. The rating would be 8/10.

4.      Cobhams Asuquo -Empty: As we await what is probably the most anticipated album of all time, extraordinary producer, singer and songwriter Cobhams Asuquo continue to give us a feel of what his first studio album would sound like and we know when it comes to Cobhams he doesn’t get it wrong. The rating of this song would be 9/10.

5.      KaySwitch ft Davido -GidDem: Arguing about KaySwitch's talent is a waste of time, there is no doubt he is one of the best in his genre of music but being consistent is one problem the former Mo Hits artiste faces. GidDem featuring Davido is another classic one from KaySwitch and I must say this song would go far. The rating would be 8/10.

6.      Terry Tha Rapman -Gangstar: Song like this is why Terry Tha Rapman would always remain one of my favourite rapper. After having a very successful 2016 with one of the best hip hop song Crazy, TR kicks off 2017 with same pattern dropping another classic hip hop joint titled Gangstar and without any doubt the rating for this song would 8/10.

7.      ClassiQ –Ina Son Ki: Okay I have to be honest, this isn’t one of best song from ClassiQ but then again I must give it to him he was able to pull it off. For me the production and instrumental of this song was the turning point, without a decent video to back it up this song might not go as far as expected. The rating would be 7/10.

8.      Sheyman -BabyO: When it is comes to Sheyman one thing I have come to expect is matured and classic sound and I am happy he didn’t disappoint with this song. From the production down to the beat and lyrics everything was on point and for that the rating for BabyO which was actually produced by DJ Coublon and Krissbeat is 9/10.

9.      Kid-Konnect-ft-Vector & Uzikwendu - Zone: From the moment I heard the intro of this song I knew it was going to be a 9/10 rating. Kid Konnect went hard with the production of this song and of course Vector and Uzikwendu came out hard. This song would go down as one of the best rap song this year and without a doubt it already one of the best rap songs ever.

10.  Stonebwoy ft Damaris -One Thing: This is another respected artiste in Ghana who made lot of wave last year and he has made sure he continues from where he left off this year. This is not that typical Stonebwoy song but then again it is a decent effort. The rating would be 7/10.
