Thor: Ragnarok Gets An Updated Logo

When the logo for Thor: Ragnarok was first revealed, most fans were confused by the 1980s inspired visual aesthetic. Since then, set photos have made it clear that the movie has taken cues from the artwork of Walt Simonson, but now some changes have been made it seems, bringing it more in line with the amazingly trippy 1960s artwork by Jack Kirby that’s also featured on the T-shirt down below.

With the highly anticipated threequel set to take place on Earth, Asgard, and a gladiatorial arena where the God of Thunder will come to blows with the Hulk, Thor: Ragnarok looks set to show us a whole new side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s been cooked up here. It’s no secret that both Thor and Thor: The Dark World were slightly underwhelming, so there’s a particularly large amount of pressure on this one to deliver. From everything we’ve heard so far though, we’re feeling pretty confident that it can.

Thor: Ragnarok will smash its way into theaters on November 3rd and as we learned earlier today, will feature a cameo from director Taika Waititi.
