Robbers
raided the family home of Chelsea legend, Frank
Lampard on
Tuesday, March 21 apparently looking for his late mother’s jewellery. Frank’s mother, Pat, died of pneumonia in 2008 aged 58 and her jewellery were passed on to her daughters, Natalie and Claire.
However, his father Frank Lampard Snr., who’s a
retired English footballer, still leaves in the family house located in Gidea
Park, East London.
He wasn’t home at
the time of the incident, which made the house a ‘mess’.
‘They made a right mess. They were obviously looking for money
or jewellery but there wasn’t anything there,’ Frank’s father told The SUN.
‘There was some junk jewellery lying about but they didn’t take
it. They knew what they wanted.’
Lampard is the
all-time leading goalscorer for Chelsea, which presently leads the 2016/17 EPL
table.
