Adamu Hassan was the hero for Nasarawa United as he scored the only
goal in the 34th minute to give his team the win. Akwa United's best chance for an equaliser came in the 59th minute
but Ifeanyi Ifeanyi's attempt was
over the bar.
The
victory was Nasarawa's third this season so far after 11 games. They now move
up to 12th on 13 points in the league table, usurping Akwa on better goals
difference.
Nasarawa's
next game comes up this weekend when they travel away to face Niger Tornadoes on matchday 12.
