Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has hailed his team patience in their 3-0 win over Everton as they edged closer to the Premier League title. Chelsea's comfortable victory over the Toffees on Super Sunday means Conte's side have taken a further step to securing the Premier League title.
Chelsea played out a tight, goalless first-half in Merseyside, before goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill and Willian secured three points.
He said “We must be pleased because we've had a lot of patience to wait at the right moment to hit, and then we decided to win, In this type of game it's not easy and the danger is to lose your head, and to try to win, but lose your opponents. For this reason, after the first half, I told my team to be calm and to stay in the game in every moment. We scored an amazing goal with Pedro and the second and third goals came. We must be pleased because today wasn't easy.”
