Abia Warriors Held To A 0-0 Draw

Struggling Remo Stars held home side Abia Warriors to a 0-0 draw in a matchday 23 Nigeria Professional Football League clash on Thursday. It was a game that saw chances come at a premium for both teams with Abia the only team that created anything meaningful.

In the 56th minute Abia Warrior striker Sunday Adetunji had the ball in the net but his effort was ruled out for offside. Abia went close again in the 81st minute through Shedrack Asiegbu who hit a 20-yard strike which came off the post.

The draw moved Abia Warriors to 10th in the league table on 32 points, while Remo remain bottom on the log on 23 points.
