Popoola Sodiq To Join Egyptian Side Al Masry

Former Nigeria U-23 international Popoola Sodiq has confirmed that he will be on his way to Egyptian club Al Masry in the summer. Sodiq said that he has agreed in principle to join the Egyptian top flight side.

Al Masry finished fourth in the 2016/2017 season with 54 points from 30 matches.

He said “This summer I will become a player of Al Masry. They were very keen to sign me and I liked the team's ambitions. I'll be in Egypt soon but the issue of contract duration will have to be sorted. But yes, I will be their player.”
