#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

It is time for another brand new episode of Absolute Hearts Music Review, the number in Africa. The music scene started pretty dull this week but we were still able to pull out some new songs for you and without further ado here they are;

1. Davido ft. R. Kelly - IF Remix: When the King of R&B and Remix jumps on your track then it only means one thing, you song is definitely a mega hit. Davido finally premiered the much anticipated remix to his mega hit song IF and this one features the King himself R. Kelly. To be honest nobody saw this coming even Davido himself didn’t expect it but I guess the magnitude of the song speaks for itself. As expected Kells added another melody to the song with his verse as the rating would be 9/10. 

2. Shatta Wale - Penalty: As he prepares for his US tour, Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale decides to give us another brilliant song titled Penalty and as expected Shatta came through on this. The rating would be 8/10. 

3. Konga ft. Small Doctor – Doro Si Konga: I have waited for this collaboration for a long time and it’s finally here. Konga returns with another club banger that will definitely take over the streets and on this one he features Omo Iya Teacher himself Small Doctor. Doro Si Konga is another brilliant effort from Konga and the rating will 8/10.

4. Orezi - Cooking Pot: The Ghen Ghen Master is back with another brilliant and strong message song. This is another brilliant afro sound song coming from Orezi and the production I must say was on point and of course the message he passed in this song was well delivered. Good song with good production and good message, the rating will be 10. 

5. Flavour ft. Terry Akpala – Body Calling: Few days ago Flavour released his new album titled Ijele -The Traveller, here is a single off the album titled Body Calling. The Del B produced song featured Terry Apala and Flavour was on another level on this track, this isn’t the Flavour we are used to. Listening to what Flavour did on this track is an evidence of how much the music sound in Nigeria has involved. The rating will be 9/10. 6. Fuse ODG – Window Seat: One of Ghana's finest artistes Fuse ODG is back with another decent effort, after the release of his much accepted single with Nigerian sensation Tiwa Savage, Diary, Fuse ODG is here with an electronic conga song titled Window Seat. The rating would be 8/10. 

7. Milli ft. MI x Ice Prince X Cameey -Flex: Former Chocolate City rapper Milli is back and on this track he teams up with his former label mates, MI x Ice-Prince and also Cameey. Flex is a decent hip hop track and not bad for a comeback song, the rating will be 8/10, though I have to say MI really came out strong on this.

8. Cynthia Morgan ft. Phyno – No Cameras: Just when I started to wonder what has happened to Cynthia Morgan she pops us for the first time this year with this brand new single titled No Cameras. While we await her album which she has been hyping since last year No Cameras featuring Phyno is a song that her fans will definitely rock too. The rating would be 9/10.

9. Aramide x Adina – Truth: Funmi Lowo Mi crooner is back and this time she is talking about Truth. This track also features Adina and together they gave us a beautifully crafted song with a 8/10. 

10. Dotman ft. Mr Eazi –Afro Girl: Dotman who is currently on tour in UK decided to drop something new for us and on this one he titled Afro Girl he employed the service of Mr Eazi and together they gave us an 8/10 song. 

11. Sound Sultan ft. Josh2Funny - Jenifer: Naija Ninja finest Sound Sultan is back with another mind conscious song titled Jenifer and on this one he features Instagram comic sensation Josh2Funny. Not a bad effort from both of them as the rating will be 8/10.

12. Maleek Berry - Been Calling: Berry pon this, super talented producer and Star Boy artiste Maleek Berry returns with another powerful jam and he titles this one Been Calling. In the usual Maleek Berry grove, Berry decided to pour out his heart on this one as the rating will be 8/10.
