Fox Networks Group gets new African executive team

Fox Networks Group Europe and Africa has announced a new executive team structure in Africa as part of its effort to widen its presence on the continent.

Vasilis Iliopoulos will expand his role to become senior vice president for FNG Africa, while maintaining his position as general manager of Fox Networks Greece. Evert van der Veer who has been hired from regional streaming service iFlix, has been named FNG Africa’s new general manager. Both moves are effective immediately.

FNG’s executive vice president of Europe and Africa, Adam Theiler, said the moves will prove instrumental in our continued expansion into sub-Saharan Africa.
