My mother told me she loves me before her death - #BBNaija star Lolu

Lolu of the Big Brother Naija reality television show is sad that his mother is not alive to see how far he has gone in life.
The reality show star said that even though his mother died about eight years ago, he is still pained that she did not live long enough to reap the fruit of her labour.

He said “The last thing my mother said to me was, call me tomorrow after your sister ’s exams, I love you. It has been eight years but it still feels like yesterday , I had to grow up really quickly and be more responsible. Sometimes, I try to find comfort in the fact that she had to go for me to grow . As you may be aware , I’ ll rather have her here but I have a great father and my siblings are the best anyone could wish for , Olaide and Ololade especially . I hope my mum is looking down and smiling . Naturally, I am sad but it is the reality of my life and I am doing my best to handle it. I am her only son and the bond we shared was quite strong . I love her more every day but mum ’ s little boy has to keep his head up and keep pushing till I’ m successful as she always hoped and prayed that I ’ d be.”
