Ogun State To Immortalise HID Awolowo
According to Vanguard News, Governor Ibikunle Amosun
of Ogun State, has pledged to immortalise the matriarch of the Awolowo family,
Chief Mrs Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo for her contributions to the state.

NPFL Update: Akwa United Beats Nasarawa United
Nasarawa United lost their first game since
matchday 27, they lost to their host Akwa United in the Nest of Champions
in Uyo, the game started by 7pm and the crowd was pretty much due to the
festivities, people filled the stadium to unwind after the Muslim celebrations.
The spectators were close to 5000, pretty much in a capacity sized 30000 seater
for a league game. The line ups for the game are as follow:

Charnley apologised for the club's poor start to the season as they are second
bottom in the Premier League after six games, having failed to win a match, and
were bombed out of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night by Championship side
Sheffield Wednesday. Newcastle were heavy spenders over the transfer market,
they spent £52million over the summer in a bid to turn around their fortunes
after a difficult season under Alan Pardew and John Carver last term.

Will Enyimba Win Their 7th NPFL Title?

are on track on winning the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
title for the seventh time this season. Enyimba has eight games to end
of the current season and have accumulated a total of 55 points from 30 games,
having won 15, drew 10 matches and lost 5matches.
