The US Court of Appeal has reinstated the four-game Deflategate suspension of New England Patriots' superstar quarterback Tom Brady. Brady is alleged to have used under-inflated balls before an NFL play-off game last year. The 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals in New York reversed a federal judge's ruling from September.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic and forward Andy Carroll will face no further action regarding their comments about referee Jon Moss following the 2-2 draw at Leicester earlier this month. However, Bilic has been reminded of his responsibilities and Carroll warned over his future conduct.

Nicklas Bendtner has left Wolfsburg by mutual consent, the Bundesliga club have confirmed. The former Arsenal striker was under contract until June 2017, but leaves the team with immediate effect after both parties agreed to terminate the deal early.

According to Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, Lewis Hamilton is dealing with the poor start in his attempt to claim a third consecutive title like a true champion.
