Vice Principals series will run for two seasons alone

 

Vice Principals, HBO’s imminent new comedy series that finds Danny McBride and Walton Goggins’ warring administrators at loggerheads, will run for two seasons and two seasons alone. Set to debut on the network next Sunday, July 17, McBride confirmed during the show’s premiere that the half-hour comedy will comprise 18 episodes in total.

Danny Ward has signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool and joined Huddersfield Town on loan for the 2016-17 season. The goalkeeper, who represented Wales at Euro 2016, will join the Championship side on a season-long deal under manager David Wagner, who worked with Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund. Ward has been with Liverpool since 2012 when he joined the club as a teenager from Wrexham.

Southampton have signed midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Bayern Munich on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Hojbjerg has already been capped 17 times by Denmark, and made his debut for Bayern as a 17-year-old in April 2013. He spent last season on loan with Schalke and made 30 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
