Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has been fined £8,000 after he accepted the standard punishment following an FA misconduct charge. The Welshman admitted that his behaviour in or around the 34th minute of the Premier League game against Tottenham on September 10 amounted to improper conduct.

Borno government reopens secondary school after being closed for 2 years

The Borno Government said on Monday that it would re-open public secondary schools next week, two years after they were closed due to Boko Haram insurgency.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Inuwa Kubo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri that Internally Displayed Persons (IDPs) occupying the schools had been relocated to allow for resumption of academic activities.
