Hey you, yes
you, I mean you, okay don't mind me, I am just excited because another Friday is
here and it’s time for the Absolute
Hearts Video Analysis. Without wasting any more time, let dive into the
analysis.
1. Mavins- Janatamanta: I have said it before, I would say it a good, if your song isn't good but your video is tight, then I would love your song. When the song first came out, I didn't like it. I felt it was above Mavins standard but after seen the video story has change. First the clarity of this video is top notch and they concept fantastic, I mean whoever shot this video did a great job. The whole magic show concepts finally made me understand the chorus though I must say the Reekado Banks scene was somehow confusing. I rate it an 7/10.
2. Ycee Ft Olamide - Jagaban Remix: Though I prefer the video of the original song but this video wasn't bad. I love the whole effect especially those guys that represented the three men statue of Lagos and of course the Eyo wey they dance Shakitibobo was also dope. I rate this video 7/10.
3. D’Prince ft Phyno - Tarity: To be honest I only have one word for the video Cultural. Okay let me explain that, the video did not in any way relate to the song, at the beginning they said the word Tarity which is also the name of the song means “A helping hand given to a person in desperate need, no matter how little” 2. Food”. I said cultural because the setting was an Igbo village setting, dancing and other Igbotic features but there was no scene in the video that an “helping hand was being given neither was there any part food was being eaten, it was all about cultural dance and masquerade effect in the bush. I rate the video a 4/10.
4. Orezi ft Wizkid x Timaya - Ogede: whether na video or audio, Orezi knows how to do those party song and that was exactly what he did here. The video of the song is a standard party video and it connects to the theme of the song. I rate the video 6/10.
5. Simi- Open and Close: I like this video for just one reason, the concept of the video went along with song and the whole bad girl dressing only to end up in more civil party was cool. I rate the video 5/10.
6. Vector- 8: Lovely lovely concepts for this video, I only have one question to ask Vector, that underneath story is it true? Because if it is, then really hilarious and insane, I mean your girl cheats on you and you still went ahead to get a selfie with the person just because he is a star, that crazy mehn. I rate this video a 6/10.
So that's it for the Absolute Hearts Video Analysis for this week. Keep it locked to Absolute Hearts Music Industry Review on Monday as we bring you a thorough analysis of songs released this week.
