Absolute Hearts Weekly Video Analysis

We are back and like I usually say Thank God its Friday and without wasting any more time, let dive into the analysis.

1.      Reminisce –Poison: I feel so happy when I see a good song accompanied with a good video and Baba Hafusa gave me that happiness with this video. The concept was very dope and it followed the message of the song to the letter. The whole wondering in the garden looking for the right poison to pick out was dope and the gangster attitude that went with it can’t just be ignored. I haven’t seen a rap video with this much detailed concept in a very long while. Phoenix Media Production and Reminisce just earned a 8/10 rating.

2.      Ketchup ft Uhuru- Baby Paulina: I like this video because it has two sides to it, the normal party kind of video that was expected and also the story line of Ketchup and Baby Paulina which to me was the highlight of the video. I am guessing Baby Paulina would turn out to be a Cinderella because the only thing she gave Ketchup was her shoe. Good video with good concept and the rating would 8/10.

3.      Viktoh ft Lil Kesh - Skibi Dat: This is another video that follows the concept of the song, the first scene showed us how Viktoh woke up and got down on his knees to pray before heading out just like the beginning of the song said. The whole barbecue party going on outside was also another concept that made the video nice. Though I made one observation and I am going to forgive Unlimited L.A for that assuming that Viktoh was waking up from a siesta and not early morning sleep because if na early morning sleep Vitkoh wake up from then he should have changed his clothes. It was the same clothe he wore waking up that he also wore on the solo scene where he was riding what looks like a bike. But all in all the video is a good video and I rate it 7/10.

4.      Korede Bello ft Tiwa Savage - Romantic: Well just like the title of the song said, this video is romantic. This video depict a typical way a foreign guy would show his romantic side to a girl, meet at the cafe shop and the next thing take her to those place she wished to see. Nice concept from Moe Musa and I rate this video 7/10.
