At 68, Ronnie Wood Is Set To Be A Father Again

The Rolling Stones rocker's third wife, Sally, is said to be around three months pregnant with twins, their first children together as a spokesperson for the band said “Sally and Ronnie Wood are delighted to announce that they are expecting twins in June 2016”

Sally and Ronnie started dating in 2012 after being friends for nine years when they met backstage at the Theatre Royal. They got married in December 2012 at the Dorchester Hotel in London after a rapid six month romance, with Rod Stewart acting as the best man. .

The new baby is due in June 2016 and would be the fifth child for the veteran rocker who has a son Jesse with his first wife Krissy Findlay but divorced her in 1978. Roonie later married Jo who had two children for him Leah and Tyrone. Ronnie and Jo split in 2008 when he left her for Russian cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova. After a rocky 18 month romance, he then dated Brazilian model Ana Araujo before getting together with Sally.

Sally did an interview with the Telegraph in July 2014 and she spoke of her desire of having children, she said “a baby would be nice. Obviously we’ve spoken about it quite a lot, and you can ask him and his response would be, Well, that would be nice. He’s up for it. He’s got a lot of friends that are older who have younger children and they all say it’s fantastic and it keeps you young. I do think that would be wonderful, but I don’t know if it will happen. I hope so”.
