Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has been awarded an incredible four Guinness World Records after his
stunning five-goal haul in just nine minutes against Wolfsburg in September.
Lewandowski later went on twitter to express his joy as he posted this “It is a great honour to have my achievements on the pitch hit the Guinness Book of Records”.
The four official
record certificates of his achievements was for the quickest hat-trick,
four-goal haul, five-goal haul and most goals by a substitute, all in the Bundesliga. The Bayern Munich striker
came off the bench at half time with his side a goal down, and blew the
opposition away before the hour mark. Lewandowski struck his first just before
the 51-minute mark against Wolfsburg, before adding his second less than a
minute later. He then completed his hat-trick in the 55th minute and added his
fourth and fifth in the 57th and 60th minutes respectively. He has scored 26
goals in 25 appearances for club and country so far.
