#AHMusicReview: Kcee's Psycho, Niniola's Bana and more songs on this week's music review

Your number one music review program on the continent is back and before we go into what we have for you this beautiful Saturday, let’s quickly say a big congratulation to Linda Ikeji who recently gave birth to a baby boy. We also want to say a Happy Belated birthday to Ruggedman, who celebrated his birthday on the 20th of September.
Without any further ado, let’s jump into what we have for this week on Absolute Hearts Music Review;

1.      DJ Consequence ft. Wande Coal - Vanessa Baby: Top deejay, DJ Consequence is back with another single titled Vanessa Baby and on this one he features Wande Coal. The Da Piano produced track is definitely that song that you will dance to, as DJ Consequence continues to give us some decent party track though I have to say this song has similar melody to that of Mayorkun's Posh, which is why if you listen closely, there were some lines Wande Coal was sounding like Mayorkun. All in all this is a good song and the rating will be 7/10.

2.      Yung6ix ft. Dammy Krane x Sinzu (Sauce Kid) - Shole: Yung6ix has dropped a brand new single and if you are a true fan of hip pop then you will definitely rock to this. Shole features Dammy Krane x Sinzu and together they took Trap music to another level. The standout performer for me on this track has to be Dammy Krane, with the way he took the hook of this song, gaddmit; you can tell he is such a talent. As for Yung6ix, he did what he knows how to do best, giving us some of the best trap flows I heard in a while and of course when you have Sinzu on a trap beat that is as dope as this, what else do you expect?, he killed it on a 100. As for the rating, it will be will an 8/10.

3.      Cobhams Asuquo - Starlight: To be honest, is there really a need to always review a Cobhams' song?, he is the only artiste in the industry that never does a bad song. Once again the super talented producer/and singer is here with another super track called Starlight and as excepted Cobhams came through on this guitar heavy love song. The rating will be 9/10.

4.      Skales - Shaking My Head: The man on a mission, Skales, is back with his first official single after the release of his Mr. Love album and I have to say its Skales' season, he is having a good year, this is another decent song with lovely production I must say, the rating will be 8/10.

5.      Emtee - Gone: Off his new album DIY2, we pick out this track titled Gone just to let you have a feel of what to expect from Emtee's new album and I have to say if you are a fan of rap then you will like the album. Gone is a good rap song which says a lot about Emtee's ability to deliver, the rating will be 7/10

6.      Joe El Amadi ft. Yemi Alade - CelebrateJoe El Amadi is back with another single and on this song he features Yemi Alade. I have to say, this is a beautiful song as it contains some of the finest African highlife instrumentals, giving it that African feeling we know Yemi Alade for, it's like this song was made to suit Yemi Alade more. This is a good one from Joe El has the rating will be 8/10.

7.      Ruggedman ft Mr. Real - Sucasa Micasa: In celebration of his birthday which was on the 20th of September, Ruggedman drops another street banger titled Sucasa Micasa and on this Shaku Shaku inspired sound he features Mr Real and together they gave us another song that will definitely turn the street upside. I can't just get enough of the production, mehn, its dope, great work by Yungzil and the rating will be 9/10.

8.      9ice - Mercy: 9ice is back with another classic tune titled Mercy. I have to say, what gets to me about this song is the beautiful production from Olumix, I mean I can literally groove to the beat alone, I think Olumix is underrated. And of course when there is a beat as dope as this you don't expect 9ice not to deliver, he delivered in his classic element giving the song an 8/10 rating.

9.      Shaydee - Touch Me: Shaydee makes a return to the music scene after being absent for a long while. I have to say this is another decent song coming from Shaydee who had a pretty decent year last year but this year hasn't really been great but maybe with this song his fortune might change. Like I rightly said, this is a lovely song coming from him and if we can a video as soon as possible I'm sure the song will trend longer. The rating will be 7/10.

10.  Solidstar - Bana: Solidstar isn’t slowing down at all, though there is no news about any album but then again with the number of singles he has dropped this year, you can only guess that an album might be on the way. Bana is the latest effort coming from Solidstar, I have to say this isn’t the usual Solidstar sound but then again since the beginning of this year, Solidstar has continued to experiment with different sounds, as much as this song is concerned, this isn’t a bad song though the possibility of it doing well isn’t that certain because it not the usual Solidstar we know, aside that the song isn’t bad especially when you factor in the production, the rating will be 6/10

11.  Timaya ft. Olamide - Bam Bam: Timaya is back with another song and on this one titled Bam Bam he features Olamide. As produced by Masterkraft, the Konto inspired dancehall song is another decent effort coming from Timaya after gaining massive success with his previous single To You. The rating will be 7/10

12.  Orezi - Weke: Orezi is here with his third single of the year and he titles this one Weke. Orezi takes us back to his first sounds as he gives us that Rihanna vibes on a beat similar to that Solidstar ft. Timaya song titled My Body. Not a bad song but at the same time not the strongest effort too, the rating will be 5/10

13.  Kcee ft. Wizkid - Psycho: Five Star front man Kcee, teams up once again with Wizkid and just like they did Pull Over, they have given us another hit song titled Psycho. With the video already out, I can tell you for a fact that, this is a song that will revive Kcee's career at least for the remainder of this year. Though this song has some element of Fake Love in the instrumentals but don’t take anything away from this song, as it remains Kcee best song so far this year, the rating will be 8/10.

14.  Niniola - Bana: Finally Niniola drops her first official single of the year after dropping her debut album This Is Me late last year. I don’t even know what to say about this song, first of, Sarz is just a monster and a killer when it comes to production, the production for this song is just mind blowing and Niniola herself came though on this song just like she has always done on every Sarz produced song. Bana is a song that will trend till the end of the year with or without a video and the rating will be 9/10.
