#AHMusicReview: Slimcase, Stonebwoy, Naeto C, others on this week's Absolute Hearts Music Review

It’s a rainy Saturday right here in the city of Lagos and it’s time for another episode of Absolute Hearts Music Review. Before we kick off we just want to use this medium to show our love an d support to Harrysong, who is currently battling with depression, we stand by you on your way to recovery.
With that being said, here are the songs we shall be reviewing today;

1.      Slimcase - Kalamo: Slimcase is back with another song that is already making the streets get their groove on. As produced by Killertunez, Kalamo is another decent song from Slimcase and the rating will be 7/10.

2.      Mystro ft. Tiwa SavageGawu: Once again producer and singer Mystro collaborates with Mavin queen Tiwa Savage and together they gave us another club banger titled Gawu. This is a song that has already been well received by fans and also DJs are putting it on massive replay in the club. The rating will be 8/10.

3.      Terry Apala - Baca: While we still can’t get enough of his previous single titled Mushin, Terry Apala decides to bless us with another lovely jam titled Baca. This sound is a little different from his usual Apala style but then again with his usual Apala melody Terry made sure this is one song we will all groove too. Though I have to say the instrumentals of the song sounds so much like that of ED Sheeran's Shape of You. The rating will be 7/10.

4.      Terri - Bia: Starboy signee Terri is here with his first official single titled Bia. After gaining much attention with his verse on Soco, the industry has been waiting for this and I have to be honest, for his first single he didn’t disappoint. This is a decent effort as the groovy song which is well composed with smooth melody will have a 7/10 rating.

5.      Ichaba ft. Davido - Man Must Chop: Ichaba is back again and once again he features Davido on this Fresh produced track titled Man Must Chop. Is the song a good song? YES it is but then again I have few concerns about Ichaba, in as much as I like his sound, Ichaba has a bright future but I think it’s time he stops featuring Davido on his song, I mean I’m beginning to lose count on the number of songs he has done with Davido, it’s like he can’t do any song without him, he is the artiste under DMW that has featured Davido the most. And I don’t know if this is just me or Ichaba actually sounds a lot like Jaywon on this song. The rating will be 6/10.

6.      Beats By Jayy ft. Naeto C- Good Vibes Only: Talented producer, Beats By Jayy has a new rap song and he featured the talented rapper Naeto C on a song titled Good Vibes Only. Just like the title of this song, this is a good vibe rap song as Beats By Jayy really came through on this, I mean I have to be honest even without Naeto C on this track, the song will still sound dope, as Beats By Jayy's flows were on point. This is going to have an 8/10 rating.

7.      Stonebwoy -Top Skanka: Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, who we haven’t heard from in a while, is back with a new song titled Top Skanka and in his usual style he made sure he didn’t disappoint his fanswith this heavy beat dancehall song. The rating will be 7/10.

8.      Ajebutter22 ft. Mr. Eazi x Eugy - Ghana Bounce (Remix): Ajebutter22 drops the remix to one of his classic hit titled Ghana Bounce and this remix, which sounds much more different from the original, features Mr. Eazi x Eugy. This remix doesn’t have that same high tempo pace that the original song has instead it has a slow tempo vibes but then again you can still grove to it and it’s a decent effort as the rating will be 7/10.

9.      Pepenazi - Psychedelic: Immediately this song started, I had to check once again to be sure I was listening to the right song, this is a very different side of Pepenazi as we hear  him giving us some Fuji vibes. Probably because I like Fuji that’s why I like this song but if I’m not being bias, I will say Pepenazi didn’t do bad considering the fact that he decided to experiment with his sounds though I will have said a song like this could have featured someone like Koker or Dammy Krane who are more comfortable to that Fuji-Hip Pop sound. All in all Pepenazi didn’t do bad as he also kept the song short and simple and he rating will be 6/10.

10.  PatrickXXLee - H3llywood Blvd: South African producer and rapper PatrickXXLee is here with a brand new single titled H3llywood Blvd and this might be the single off his Nowhere project that is said to drop soon. This is definitely a decent hip hop song from the producer, who has worked with the likes of Ice Prince and M.I Abaga just to name a few and the rating for this song will be 7/10.

11.  Limerick - Ruff Play: One of YBNL new signees Limerick is back with his second official single and this one is titled Ruff Play. Ruff Play is a groovy sound compared to his first single Pesin which is all rap flow, on this Rexxie produce song Limerick did more of singing than rapping and I have to say he didn’t do bad as the rating will be 7/10.
