The spirit of Fela is far from you - Seun Kuti replies Kanye West

American rapper, songwriter and producer, Kanye West visited Uganda this weekend with his family, for a quick work vacation. 
Kanye West had earlier promised to come to Africa to get some African sound for his new album, and while the American rapper was catching the African atmosphere, he was spotted grooving and jamming hard to some Afrobeat songs

After the whole grooving, Kanye West took to his social media to make a video where he was feeling himself, declaring his music the best in the planet as he is the best recording artiste. He further stated that he is the best because the spirit of Fela and Marley lives in him.

Seun Kuti the youngest son of legendary afrobeat pioneer ‘Fela Kuti‘ and the man who also leads his father’s former band Egypt 80, has come out to dispute Kanye West's speech that he doesn’t possess the spirit of the Afrobeat Legend. 

He said “Erm erm on behalf of the Kuti family, I want to state that the spirit of Olufela Anikulapo Kuti isn’t anywhere near Kanye West”.
