With a summer release date in sight, Magnolia Pictures has released the first Little Men trailer for your consideration. Also starring are Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Ehle as Jake’s parents, and Paulina García as Tony’s mom.

After The CW renewed its entire slate of programming earlier in the year, and just announced this week that it’s got four new shows headed to the network in the fall, prospects for the Spring debut of outbreak thriller Containment were pretty low. Unfortunately, so were ratings, leading to The CW’s ultimate decision to axe the series.

Fox Has Canceled The Grinder, Grandfathered, Bordertown And Cooper Barrett

 

It’s a bad day to be a freshman comedy series on Fox, as the network confirmed that four of its new sitcoms including The Grinder, Grandfathered, Bordertown and Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life won’t be seeing a season two. The former two shows debuted in the fall, while Bordertown and Cooper Barrett were lower-profile midseason entries.

An emotional John Terry reiterated his desire to stay with Chelsea after the final game of the season against Leicester. Terry is out of contract in the summer and although the club have offered him a one-year deal, he is yet to sign, saying on Friday that he is mulling over the decision.

The device which forced the abandonment of Manchester United's Premier League game with Bournemouth wasn't viable, Greater Manchester Police have said. What was supposed to be an important final league match of the season at Old Trafford instead ended with fans being evacuated from the ground before the scheduled 3pm kick-off, with players ushered off the pitch during the warm-up.

Andy Murray has claimed the biggest clay court title of his career, beating world No 1 Novak Djokovic in straight sets in the final of the Rome Masters. The Scot celebrated his 29th birthday by winning 6-3 6-3 on Sunday, becoming the first British player since 1931 to win the tournament in Italy, just seven days ahead of the French Open.

Lewis Hamilton And Nico Rosberg Escape Penalty

 

Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have escaped further punishment after their collision on the first lap of the Spanish GP resulted in both Mercedes cars crashing out.  After Rosberg overtook the pole-sitting Hamilton off the line, the pair clashed as world champion Hamilton strove to regain the lead at Turn Four. Both drivers were summoned to face the stewards after the race but escaped without punishment with their clash adjudged to have been a racing incident.

Max Verstappen Wins After Both Mercedes Crash Out

Max Verstappen became the youngest ever winner in F1 history after winning the Spanish GP following a first-lap collision between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen held off Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen for victory with Red Bull team-mate Daniel Ricciardo third after running a three-stop strategy.

The two Mercedes drivers had collided on the run to Turn Four leaving both cars in the gravel and out of the race. Both drivers were summoned to face the stewards after the race but escaped without punishment. "He had made a mistake and started in the wrong engine setting," said an apologetic Hamilton.
