Police Make More Arrests For Scottish Club Final Disturbances

 
Police have made a further seven arrests in relation to the disturbances at the Scottish Cup final in May. Seven men, aged between 19 and 49, were arrested at addresses in the Glasgow, Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Livingston areas and have been detained in police custody.

Matt Damon was recently quizzed about the possibility of starring in a superhero and he had this to say “I’d consider anything with the right director, but I can’t imagine there are any superheroes left, I think they’re all taken at this moment. If Ben was directing me, I’d jump on it in a New York minute. I’d love to work with Ben.”

Fox Hits Up Work On X-Men TV Series

 
20th Century Fox is keen to foster its X-Men franchise with report revealing today that the studio is finally starting to make some tangible headway on that long-rumored TV series. Collaborating with Matt Nix and Marvel, Fox has reportedly issued a put-pilot commitment to the untitled action-adventure show. Without getting too inside baseball, put-pilot refers to a pilot order that the network has agreed to air as either a special or series and, generally speaking, guarantees that said network will air the pilot episode.

Shooter Spinoff Series Postponed

 
In light of the recent Dallas sniper attack, USA Network has opted to postpone its Shooter spinoff series to July 26. Previously slated for a premiere next Tuesday, July 19, USA Network relayed an official statement, stating: “In light of recent tragic events and out of respect for the victims, their families and our viewers, we have decided to postpone the premiere date for the upcoming USA Network series Shooter to July 26.”
