UEFA Euro 2016 Draw

The draws for the UEFA Euro 2016 which will be hosted by France was made yesterday as England and Wales were drawn in the same group.

Republic of Ireland were dealt with the “Group of Death” and face a complicated test against Belgium, Sweden and Italy in Group E while Northern Ireland were drawn alongside World Cup winners Germany, Poland and Ukraine in Group C. Hosts France were handed a favourable draw and will take on Albania, Romania and Switzerland in Group A with European champions Spain to face Turkey, Czech Republic and Croatia in Group D.

Portugal and talisman Cristiano Ronaldo were the last top seed to be drawn and will face Iceland, Hungary and Austria in Group F.

Wales boss Chris Coleman had this to say after the draw “well, we've got them, it will be a great game, it is two good teams and to win 10 games in the campaign is a fantastic return. England are one of the best teams, and we looked at it and would have wanted to avoid it, but we look forward to it”. the competition kick off on 10^th of June 2016 and would end on the 10^th of July 2016
