Nigerian athlete, Josephine Orji, has just shattered the World Record with a lift of 160kg to win the gold medal in the Women’s -84kg Power-lifting event at the ongoing Paralympics Games in Rio, Brazil.

Ben Barnes On Board For The Punisher Spinoff

 
TV Line is reporting that Ben Barnes has closed a deal to board The Punisher, Marvel and Netflix’s upcoming spinoff that centers on one Frank Castle. Little is known about the casting coup, and the fact that Marvel is yet to announce anything through its official channels at the time of writing means that you shouldn’t consider this a done deal just yet.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has no plans to commence an interim strike on October 2, an official has said. The Chairman of the University of Abuja chapter of ASUU, Ben Ugheoke, said on Wednesday that he was wrongly quoted on a planned strike.

Rio 2016: Nigeria gets 7th gold in Paralympics

Flora Ugwunwa set a new world record in the women’s javelin – F54 event on Tuesday at the Rio Paralympics to give Nigeria its seventh gold medal.
She recorded a throw of 20.25 metres after six attempts to win the gold medal and take Nigeria’s tally to seven gold, two silver and one bronze medals.

Immediately Tutu saw the baby, she started feeling uncomfortable. Funmilayo walked into the tent they (Tutu and the guy she came with) were seated and acted like someone that just arrived for the party. She had seen Tutu before via some of the pictures Adeleke showed her but that didn't do justice because she later admitted that Tutu looked more beautiful in person.
